Paul is passionate about helping people. With a unique and eclectic background, he channels his diversity and “outside-the-box thinking” to empower individuals (and teams) to reach goals they thought were unattainable. He founded Starfish SEO & Marketing with the goal to aid businesses in achieving their objectives by using the best digital tools and strategies available. He has a proven record in sales, marketing, and advertising, and is committed to providing focused, hands-on training in an easy-to-understand way.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Social Media Manager with a history of working in the restoration industry. Strong marketing professional with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Elementary Education and a Minor in History from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA.  She is passionate about volunteering in her community, having spent four years volunteering with Young Life in Portland and currently in her third year volunteering with Tigard/Tualatin Relay For Life. She loves to travel, read, hike, take photos, and spend time at the Oregon coast.

Tamara Cantrell

TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

Tamara’s mission is to help people and companies large or small encompass their potential and separate themselves from their competition. Her background in design, web development and digital marketing management makes her an excellent hands-on trainer and advisor.  An adept researcher, she follows current industry trends and provides strategies for correlating these ideas to the customer. She is proud to be a part of Starfish SEO & Marketing and is committed to training clients and their teams to reach the next level.

Jill earned a PhD and pursued a path in academia but kept straying off that path and to writing and editing, first in the medical and social sciences and then beyond. She is passionate about these pursuits because they allow her to make order out of chaos without ever having to clean her house. In her nonworking hours, she reads a variety of nonfiction and fiction, does the Friday-Sunday crossword puzzles, cooks, plays with her animals, and makes jewelry.

Martha’s always looking for something she would enjoy doing and from the first exposure she’s had to Digital Marketing, she couldn’t stop. Ever changing and evolving, especially in the past year. She feels blessed to be in a career that she loves doing and able to help businesses. From analyzing their SEO, PPC and Facebook marketing to managing them for their business. Her goal is to advise and train businesses to set them up for success.

Meg has a Bachelor’s degree in social work, multiple years of food service, barista, Uber driver, food truck manager, preschool teacher, and currently photographer and content creator. She enjoys expressing creativity within her job as she constructs videos and also captures behind the scenes footage during video shoots. Her favorite type of photography is capturing unposed people in their natural element. She believes seeing these types of real-life photos on social media draws people in and interests them in the work we are doing.

Christina thoroughly enjoys being a part of Starfish SEO as the content editor.  Christina is also a parent of two teenagers that keep her busy with volleyball and other activities. Christina has previously co-owned restoration companies and was a daycare provider for 10 years. To say she’s kept busy is putting it lightly, however Christina is the type of person whom enjoys experiencing all life has to offer.

Mackenzie has always been interested in design in multiple forms. After attending MTSU for graphic design she has learned that it takes a sharp eye and creative mind to make something exciting! From artwork to marketing, creative design is important for day to day life! As a video creator and editor she enjoys bringing her knowledge into our videos and making it into something that will succeed!

Melissa is passionate about creating an authentic online experience! She spends time brainstorming new ideas and keeping up with current events so she can create relevant content for each of our clients, and Starfish SEO’s social media pages. Social media has given Melissa an appreciation for curating an eye-catching Instagram feed, or finding the best method of interacting with people online.

Christina brings to the team a wealth of administrative experience working in the fields of technology, publishing, education, and religious organizations. Christina’s exceptional organizational skills help us manage projects, track deadlines, and keep everything running smoothly. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has three daughters and two energetic Boxers. Christina enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, going to the beach, making pottery, horseback riding, and going on adventures in her spare time. One of her favorite quotes is from Katherine Gaskin: “Be like a pineapple: Stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside.”
